World's firsteight-sided seal bag developed
To support the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), many multinational corporations have set ambitious targets for 2025 or 2030, focusing on recyclable and biodegradable packaging. An Australian pet food company approached us for recyclable packaging solutions.
We became the first company in China to produce eight-side-seal bags with a single PE structure. These bags exceeded all expectation in durability of conventional flexible packaging. We are now in stable mass production for the Australian pet food company.
The Challenge
We were tasked to create an eight-side-seal bag with a single PE structure that meets recyclability standards. It will be the first of it's kind and no reference examples existed.
The Outcome
Printing Process:
We developed specific printing conditions by considering the physical properties of PE film and the characteristics of the ink used.
Composite Process:
We formulated composite processing conditions based on the evaporation properties of the adhesive and the PE film’s processing characteristics.
Bag Making Process:
We established precise bag-making conditions to handle the complex structure of eight-side-seal bags, focusing on the melting points of the single PE packaging structure.
